The presentations were rich in content, and during the scheduled discussion segments of the conference, the presenters and audience were engaged in especially enthusiastic conversations, leading to fruitful academic exchange. The ardent discussions also continued in more informal settings, such as the morning of the second day, in the hour before the conference started, when Mr. Niwa Takafumi showed the bronze pieces, brought over especially from Japan, that his research institute had casted in their reproduction experiments, leading to lively scholarly interest from the other conference presenters. The wonderful presentations and discussions of the conference has enriched the understanding of Shang and Zhou Bronzes for all those who attended, and has meaningfully pushed forward this field of study. The conference could only have been successful due to all those who participated, and Chinese Cultural Studies Center is especially grateful for all the presenters who came from near and far to attend, and hope that there will be future opportunities for collaboration in the future! In order to ensure that the meaningful information shared in the conference can be perpetuated and shared with more people, a collection of the papers prepared by the presenters will also be published.
